"On "Re-": an Agent of Action, Orientation, and Position:
​
"I am fixated on this prefix due to its choreography of insistence on a position in relationship to a community of artists working in realms of futurity. To be in an everyday position of "re-" is to be adaptable, understanding of previously erected boundaries and terms, and to be actively engaging in a process of seeking a glitch pathway to subvert, disrupt, or highlight.... The work of excavating the "re-" in choreography and research has led me most notably toward measurements through binary observations (this and that) or stepwise patterns (this then that) and queer dreams for triangulating binary systems through rapture (neither this nor that, both this and that) and the emergence of queerly devised fantasy within the quotidian (this becomes that). For example, I see "they" - as referring to my pronoun preferences currently - as a container not for 'other' but for becoming multiplicities, re-animating the fractured pieces of disciplinary divisions, and living within the "re-". The particularity is a choreogrphy of resistance, glitch, insistence on a value, and euphoric existence."
